The Process:

• Step-by-Step Guide: Commissioning process from initial consultation to final delivery.
  1. Consultation: Vision and requirements for the portrait.
  2. Providing a Photo: I require a photograph of the subject to start the painting process. You might already have a suitable photo or consider visiting a photo studio.
  3. Photography Services: If needed, I offer photography services to capture the subject in the ideal setting and environment, ensuring the photo aligns perfectly with the envisioned portrait. This off-site photography service is available by agreement, with pricing discussed upon request.
  4. Sketch and Approval: Initial sketches for approval before proceeding.
  5. Painting: Painting process and estimated timeline.
  6. Review and Final Touches: Chance to review and request minor adjustments.
  7. Delivery of Your Portrait Painting:
     • Sizes up to 40 x 60 cm:
       • 15 euros for delivery to a DPD parcel locker in Latvia.
       • 20 euros for delivery to a specific address in Latvia.
       • 30 euros to a parcel locker within the European Union.
     • Sizes over 40 x 60 cm and up to 175 cm:
       • 30 euros for delivery to an address in Latvia.
       • 60 euros for delivery to an address within the European Union.

Technical Specifications:

• Medium: All portraits are painted using high-quality acrylic paints, ensuring durability and vibrancy.
• Frame Thickness: The standard frame under the canvas is 19 mm (0.75 inches). Options for thicker frames at 38 mm (1.5 inches) and 50 mm (2 inches) are also available for an additional cost.
• Payment Options: Payments can be conveniently made via PayPal or bank transfer.

Framing Options:

• External Frame (Optional): While the portrait can be displayed as-is, you can add an outer frame. This can be arranged after the painting is complete at any frame-making workshop. Please note framing incurs a separate fee.
• Frameless Display: If you prefer a more modern, minimalistic look, the painting can be designed to cover the entire canvas. Alternatively, a 1 cm wide white border can be left, creating a simple yet elegant edge.
